Where was you first AMP?

Similar story. Although I was already well versed in fast houses and street walkers I didn't really know much about amps.
Then in the mid 90's I started picking up on the stories about AMPs getting busted in Newsday. This is about 1997 and the stories were the same as today. Karen's who were interviewed would tell of disgusting, disheveled guys constantly going in and out of unmarked doors. I was wondering what was going on in these places and the articles would mention that they advertise in the Newsday classified section.
It was too easy. Back then they even had the full street address. It wasn't long before I had my first amp experience, a bbj cim on Sunrise Highway in Amityville.

I was on a business trip to Virginia Beach area. Driving from Norfolk airport to there I saw this AMP. I had a long day and it advertised shower and massage. I was totally naive as to what that really was. Whole deal including HE in the shower area by a nice Korean woman — ran something like 15 bucks plus a small tip (tip was discussed and suggested by her before the shower.)
I stopped in each time I had a trip there.
To put things in perspective min wage then in VA was 2.30/hr. $15 was 6.5X min wage. In VA today it is $12/hr In todays $ the house fee would be 6.5 X 12 which is $78.

I think it was the place in ronkonkoma on portion rd accross from the checkers and retro fitness, i used to like going there after the gym. there was a bar a few stores down sometimes people would be standing out there so id have to wait until it was all clear to go in. i barely even tipped anything for a HE like 10-15 dollars and they never seemed to mind, guess i didnt know better and always a great massage, one young girl there went for my dick like 2-3 times i think it was her first day working. i think this place got closed down about 6-7 years ago.

Main St Farmingdale close to 109/7-11. Late 90’s. Had heard about the place from a work friend. Second story amp. In hind sight I’d say the attendant was late 40’s tall not that attractive but friendly. I remember I actually kept my underwear on! She laughed on the flip at the tent I had. It was almost 30 years ago. After my divorce my best friend decided to take me under his wing and introduce me to the monger life.
We went to an AMP on Route 112 across the street from an elementary school. After one visit I was hooked. At that time, it seemed like Rte 112 had an AMP every half mile. And we made it our mission to visit them all.

First ever was Tokyo Spa in downtown Hartford, CT in November 1989 (primarily an HJ place) followed shortly thereafter by Hong Kong Spa in Waterbury, CT, an FS place that even offered prostate massages. Waterbury featured 10 AMPs, all were FS and did great business until the local police and the State Police combined to raid and shut down all 10 places at the exact same time in April 2006, an incredible waste of manpower and taxpayer funds as 50+ officers were involved. The raid generated a lot of TV and newspaper press and a post that I had written (on a different website under the same "Mighty Spearsman" handle that I've used since the 1990s) was mentioned as evidence of what was going on in the 10 AMPs.
Turns out I knew one of the 50+ officers. I was tempted to identify myself as the MS but decided to keep quiet, although I did tell him that I thought it was a waste of resources to arrest people for what was going on behind closed doors considering the level of serious crime in Waterbury, he just shrugged. Not sure if Waterbury has improved any in the 18 years since that raid.
First AMP in Manhattan was Gold Spa just off Herald Square in Midtown, best known for Mimi who gave the best BBBJTCIM service I've ever had, I was a regular here for almost a decade (two locations). Mimi later became the MMS but still had sessions with old customers if they were willing to wait until closing time. The last time I was there was December 2008. Mimi probably qualifies as a GILF now but I'd still love to hook up with her again.
